365 days of FC Bayern München
310/365The UEFA Champions League semi final second leg football match
between FC Barcelona and FC Bayern München on May 1, 2013 at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona. The German side won 0:3 with goals from Robben (49’), Piqué (72’ o.g.) and Müller (76’) and with that they recorded the biggest aggregate win in a UEFA Champions League semi-final. It was also Barcelona’s heaviest aggregate defeat in UEFA competition,
and the first time the Catalan club had lost both legs of a European tie
since March 1987. Bayern deserved every accolade that came their way.

It’s weird how soccer (and sports in general) seems to balance out. DC United wins (hallelujah!!) and Man United loses. FC Bayern wins (5-1 too!), and FC Barcelona loses. Strange.
FYI I won’t be liveblogging the second half of the match due to watching Man Utd’s game against Arsenal, which starts at 11. And then Bayern plays Dortmund at 11:30.
Why do my teams all have to play at once this morning?
On a more positive note, at least all my teams are leading.
Not a bayern fan but this guy is insane 😮
Unfortunately, the only thing I can do is play football, which is why the interviews come out like they do.
Random!
Love that pep is standing up for Douglas costa’s rainbow flick!
Brazilians make the game more beautiful lets just enjoy it 😏⚽️
Alex Truica continues with ‘The Pep Episodes (XI)’- A win by sheer force of will makes Guardiola happy – but certain remarks don’t.
“In a tumultuous game at Hoffenheim, Bayern celebrated a last second win, much to the pleasure of Pep Guardiola. The Catalan saw an entertaining game full of twists and turns. It started with a new Bundesliga record: Hoffenheim’s Volland scored just nine seconds into the game for the home team, so Bayern started with a proper handicap. After Müller equalized, the handicap got even tougher now that Boateng was sent off and Hoffenheim got awarded a penalty, just for captain Polanski to smash it on the post. But even down to ten men, Bayern dominated the game in impressive fashion, got unlucky by shooting the ball three times on the posts themselves – but ended rewarded with a happy end, when Lewandowski slotted home the winner in the 90th minute after a low cross of Douglas Costa, who was the praised a week ago.”
